Rock
We created the Rock rocking stool to make use of our production leftovers instead of throwing them away.
We always try to place the pieces as efficiently as possible on our panels before cutting. But there are still sometimes small leftover pieces! So we had to analyze the recurrence of these scraps and identify a product that would be easy to produce, easy to store (disassembled), and have a nice design to help with our communication!
The sides and the reinforcement are therefore cut from our regular leftover recycled particleboard (often around 50x50cm).
For the seat, we wanted to (re)value another type of leftover: the ends of reclaimed CLT panels that we use for our tables. The lengths are not always regular, and not enough to guarantee a full seat. This led to the welcome suggestion from our former intern Gabin to make it in two parts, which also improved the comfort of the stool.
Rock is therefore the first REGGLO product made from scraps of scraps!
